Grass maintenance in agricultural crops such as vines or fruit trees, or for communities along road and highway edges, in industrial areas, etc. is mainly done with mowers, brushcutters, tractors and weedkillers. Not only are these operations time-consuming and expensive, but they also generate CO 2 and use polluting products. That’s why we want to automate these operations with an intelligent agricultural mower robot, capable of cutting grass close to crops, trees, walls, etc., using, among other things, GPS tracking to avoid installing a boundary wire.
We want to accelerate the transition towards sustainable development: that’s why we distribute all plans and software of our robot under the GNU General Public License (GPL), except for the purchased components, such as engines, GPS modules, LIDAR, etc., which are under the manufacturer’s license.
